Nefeli Griechische Taverne in Rottach-Egern

Because of the very good rating, we stopped by after a nice walk and found the ambience, service and food to be very tasty! Salad was unfortunately a bit bland, but you could fix it quickly with salt and pepper, so no point deduction.

Were here to eat on October 24th, 2020. Very good food. Price performance top. Very friendly service. The hygiene measures are very good here.

Very tasty dishes. The salad tasted like ... nothing at all. But the rest and the friendly service made up for it.

Unexpectedly good! During our multi-day vacation in Bavaria, one evening we felt like a culinary runaway (and ouzo). By chance we ended up in the Nefeli. We felt well taken care of. The lamb fillet was - as requested - tender pink and delicious. The veal liver was just as tender and tasty. Thank you for that and all the best!

Good greek food

Mega delicious Greek restaurant in Rottach-Egern! Great selection of delicious grill specialties from the lava grill. Very nice service and inviting atmosphere. Definitely worth a second visit!

Unfortunately, only the young service staff wore their masks correctly. One elderly gentleman only wore his mask over his chin and lower lip the whole time. Upper lip and nose were free. So it couldn't have just slipped. Especially in this day and age, when the number of cases is rising again, it is disrespectful to the guest. Unfortunately, I have to confirm Hülya Bektas-Onat's statement. But the food was delicious.

We live here in the village and visit the Nefeli very often, I can only say that it is better every time! Food, service great! The restaurant inside is very nicely decorated and very cozy! Until next time !

Unfortunately, we didn't like it at all. It started with us being served a stale, room-warm ouzo. We found the service intrusive. The waiter was waiting next to our table to take the order. Less than 2 minutes later the salad came. Lots of dark marginal leaves and a totally tasteless dressing. The skewers were okay. My friend's bifteki was full of cartilage. I also found rice and tzatziki to be very slack. We also found the hygiene insufficient. Our tablecloth was stained and we could observe several times that it was just shaken out and the tables were not disinfected. However, we found the reaction to our criticism positive. Shows that they are capable of criticism and want to improve.

Very tasty food. Ate the best garlic bread yet. Staff very friendly. Only unfortunately very well attended and therefore a bit loud and hectic ...

Very nice atmosphere, food was great, friendly service, the only drawback was small fruit flies on the wall and ceiling, but really not very many.

We were only there over the weekend and are glad that we came here. The food was delicious, the staff super friendly and the ambience is also very nice 👍 ... can only be recommended! If I could give more stars, I would 😀 If we go on vacation here again, we'll see each other again 😊

We stayed here 2 days in a row and it was excellent both times. The great service, the freshly prepared food and the entire cozy, loving atmosphere! Absolute recommendation and we will be back if we are in the area again!

Taverna Nefeli has a coherent concept. Quick menu, a program to celebrate, meat, fish, starters - you can easily find something suitable for every occasion. Central location, super friendly service, proximity to the lake for a walk after dinner make the location even more attractive. Recommendation and bon appetite!

Very good food. Meat was tender and flavorful. Platter nicely arranged. Staff really nice and accommodating. Price performance fits. Unfortunately, the main traffic road leads past the beer garden, which spoils the atmosphere a bit. But the restaurant is highly recommended

It was delicious. Serving size was large. There is a star deduction because no Tegernsee beer is served and the side salad could be seasoned a little better.

Very nice service. Food was there quickly, even though the beer garden was full. Salad dressing a bit lax, but salt and pepper were ready at the table. Giros with pork fillet skewer very tasty.

Shady garden, good and friendly service, typical Greek dishes. I chose giros with tzatziki and a fresh, colorful salad in advance. The resinated Retsina fit very well. The crowning glory was the Greek mocha - lovingly served in the Greek way.

After walking past the sign "Open here soon ..." weeks ago, I was really curious about when it starts, because I like to eat Greek and a real Greek is missing here in the valley, after three years ago Greek restaurants had closed in quick succession. Last Monday (17.06.2019) I was traveling with my wife after work in the Rottacher promenade. While she calmly looked at shop windows, I was traveling a little faster, because I wanted to see how far ahead the changes in the restaurant of the new Greeks. And oh wonder! The work was over and the bar was open. I hurried back to my wife, who correctly interpreted my big smile and said, "The new Greek is open, right?" and "Let's look at the map?" We did that too. Because there were no tickets left in the showcases, we took one from a small table in the passage between the bar and the beer garden. Even while we were there and studying the map, a waiter came and handed us an ouzo. Of course, we could not say no with such a nice invitation. We took a seat in the beer garden and ordered a giros and a hot appetizer plate, although we had already eaten lunch. You could tell that the restaurant opened only on Friday, before we were there, because it was still a bit out of round. Latte Macciato did not come (probably machine defective) I then took a cappuccino and instead of French fries I had rice on the plate - but the fries were then handed, but with ketchup instead of the ordered mayonnaise. But these were all such minimal deficiencies that can happen at startup ever, that I still rate the Nefeli with full 5 stars. The taste was everything perfect, the portions were OK, the service was very friendly and courteous and the ambience was exactly as I imagine it with a Greek. We're going back today!
